This set was inspired by The Curse, which was released in 2016 and is written by The Longest Johns (David Robinson). The shanty takes us on quite a bitter journey when an old captain tells us some stories about his life in a stark tone. It might not have been sung by the sailors of the past, but it reeks of roleplaying spirit and so fits perfectly with the theme of the Kickstarter.
